Deep tech venture capital, India
Deep tech venture capital for founders building in India
SilverX Fund is a SEBI-registered deep tech venture capital fund based in Hyderabad. We back Indian founders whose companies rest on hard science, serious engineering and intellectual property that takes years to replicate.
Fund II has a target corpus of ₹800 crore with a ₹400 crore green-shoe option. We invest from Seed+ to Series A/B, with roughly 60% of the fund going to deep tech and 40% to AI-native businesses.

Why founders work with SilverX
Our partners have invested in Indian technology since 2012. Fund I, Silverneedle Ventures, backed 16 companies from a ₹76 crore corpus and was fully deployed in under 24 months.
We underwrite the technology itself, with partners and advisors from semiconductors, quantum, healthcare and enterprise AI. After we invest, we help with the hard parts: follow-on rounds, regulatory approvals, enterprise sales and exit planning. Venture partners in the US, the Middle East and Australia open doors to customers and capital abroad.

Frequently asked questions
What is a deep tech venture capital fund?
A deep tech fund invests in companies built on scientific or engineering breakthroughs, such as chips, quantum systems, spacecraft or new materials, rather than on business-model innovation alone. These companies take longer to build and need investors who can judge the technology.
What stage does SilverX Fund invest in?
SilverX invests from Seed+ to Series A/B. We aim to back founders before consensus forms and take concentrated ownership in the companies that break out, with reserves for follow-on rounds.
Is SilverX Fund SEBI registered?
Yes. SilverX Fund is a SEBI-registered Category II Alternative Investment Fund (registration IN/AIF2/25-26/2027), managed by SilverX Advisors LLP. It is Fund II on the platform that ran Silverneedle Ventures Fund I.
Which deep tech sectors does SilverX cover?
Semiconductors and advanced materials, quantum technologies, space and defence, energy systems, advanced robotics, and applied AI across enterprise, healthcare, financial services and consumer platforms.
